There will be a meeting of the First Senatorial District Republicans in Ore City at David Beard's Catfish Village on February 22, at 2:30 pm. Dinner service will begin at 4 o'clock, Dutch Treat.
The speakers for this meeting will be Gaylord Huey, Jr. and Ralph Burgess.
Mr. Huey is very active in every phase of the political arena dating back to President Ronald Reagan. He is not only a political leader, but a professional leader and a civic leader in Tyler and Smith County where he is an attorney.
Mr. Burgess is an attorney with Norton and Burgess in Texarkana and was named by Governor Rick Perry as 5th District Judge for Bowie and Cass counties recently. He will be the first Republican District Judge these counties have ever had.
Both men are excellent speakers with strong messages, and I urge you to attend. Please invite fellow Republicans to attend also.
